Market Calendar

$SPX & $QQQ

Tech getting sold premarket. QQQ down 0.62% while SPY holds green up 0.10% and the Dow keeps printing record closes. VIX is sitting at 16, barely bid even with tech red. No real reach for protection yet.

Same story all week: AI names catching punishing earnings reactions as the street sweats capex and monetization, and that money keeps rotating into industrials. That's why the Dow is at highs while QQQ bleeds. SPX is sitting right on top of the 7700 Put Wall it just reclaimed, with the Call Wall all the way up at 8000 and a 1% implied move. Hold 7700 and dips stay buyable, lose it and the tape gets heavy fast. Headlines on a possible Strait of Hormuz deal are helping the broad bid, we'll see if the premarket split holds through the open.

Macro day is light: jobless claims and productivity at 8:30, wholesale inventories at 10.

Let's have a sesh.
