Morning Market Notes 05-26-26
Market Calendar

$SPX & $QQQ

Indices ripping out of the long weekend. QQQ +1.17% and already trading above the 720 Call Wall premarket. SPY +0.71%, IWM running with it +1.16%, Dow tagging along +0.55%. VIX still parked under 17. Tech is leading and the bid looks broad before the cash open.
This is the first session back from Memorial Day, so a post-holiday risk-on bid isn't a shock. QQQ trading clean above its Call Wall means the positioning ceiling already broke; next test is whether 730 acts as a magnet or as the new ceiling. SPY's premarket move puts SPX into the 7500-7550 zone. We'll see if the flow has legs once the cash open kicks in.
Macro day is two prints: Case-Shiller home prices at 9, then Consumer Confidence at 10.
Let's have a sesh.
