SPY flow was right. And the bearish news over the weekend proved to be more of the usual smoke and mirrors.

This volatility crush into tomorrow's VIX expiration now makes more sense — with the Hormuz blockades proving to be more for show than an actual tension, oil-moving event.

We'll see if things change from tomorrow into Friday's OPEX, but for now, this updrift seems to be persistent.
