Weekly market calendar: Sept. 15-19, 2025

Here’s what’s on the radar for this week’s market events:
Yet another historic week in the markets ahead as we enter uncharted territory with SPX touching 6600 for the first time this past Friday.
Retail sales on Tuesday will set the tone, followed by the highly anticipated FOMC meeting with the rates decision that finally won’t be unchanged, as traders expect the first cut since December last year. JPow makes an appearance on Wednesday to announce whether we get a 25 or 50 bps decrease in rates.
The big piece of data I have to share is the absolutely incredible flow I’ve seen in the S&P 500 components and Mag7 this past Friday. A face ripping melt-up is set up under the hood, and the only question is when it will be unleashed.
