In our weekend notes, we successfully predicted a halt to the Santa rally.
Another short week in the markets ahead, and from our point of view, the Santa rally wrapped up last week — specifically on Wednesday, riding the wave of breaking the spread guy’s condor to pieces.
This is the first session of the new year, and futures are trying to recover the losses from Wednesday. The uptrend is being tested right now, so we’ll see if it stays on course after the opening bell.
